1. TEKnology.net exercises no control whatsoever over the content of information obtained through our services.
   
   
2. With respect to our services, TEKnology.net makes no warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness of this service for a particular purpose. TEKnology.net takes no responsibility for any damages suffered by the User, including, but not limited to, loss of data from delays, nondeliveries, misdeliveries, or service interruptions caused by TEKnology.net's own negligence or the User's errors and/or omissions.
   
   
3. TEKnology.net services may only be used for lawful purposes. Transmissions and/or materials in violation of any US, state, or local regulation are prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, copyrighted material, material legally judged to be threatening and/or obscene, or material protected by trade secret. The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless TEKnology.net from any claims resulting from the User's use of services provided by TEKnology.net that results in damage to the User or any third party.
   
   
4. The User will not attempt to interfere with or compromise the operation of TEKnology.net in whole or in part, to interfere with any of the equipment that is a part of the system, or to access other accounts or restricted areas of the system.
   
   
5. TEKnology.net subscribers shall not use the service to transmit any material in violation of any federal or local laws including but not limited to material that may be judged to be threatening, abusive, obscene or racist in content or blatant expressions of hate or is openly offensive or abusive to any particular ethnic community or group.
   
   
6. TEKnology.net will use its best efforts to maintain, but does not guarantee, the privacy of electronic forms of communication, system use, and personal directories.
   
   
7. The transmission and distribution of unsolicited commercial e-mail (spam) by TEKnology.net customers is prohibited. Unsolicited e-mail is defined as e-mail sent to a recipient who has not asked to be on the mailing list, or has not requested the information on that particular product or service. If the recipient did not explicitly request the specific content that was sent, then TEKnology.net considers it spam. Use of a TEKnology.net account to collect responses from unsolicited email replies or bounces is also prohibited. A TEKnology.net account involved in this prohibited activity will be terminated without notice or refund.
   
   
8. TEKnology.net access accounts cannot be transferred or used by anyone other than the User. Account sharing is strictly prohibited unless prior arrangements are made with our accounting office. No more than one computer may be in use at a time by the User. Dual logins will result in a double monthly charge for each occurrence. Accounts that have been transferred to other parties, or which show other activity in violation of this condition, may be disabled without prior notice with written notification following not more than 30 days after the account is disabled.
   
   
9. The User is responsible for keeping any and all passwords for TEKnology.net services private. Any damages caused by use of the User's account by third parties is solely the responsibility of the User. It is the User's responsibility to report any suspected unauthorized use, or attempted use, of the User's account to TEKnology.net.
   
   
10. Overt advertising of products and/or services from the User's account is strictly prohibited except as outlined in the TEKnology.net's Advertiser's Agreement.
    
    
11. The User's use of other organization's networks or computing resources is subject to their respective permission and usage policies.
    
    
12. Use of any information obtained via TEKnology.net services is at the User's own risk. TEKnology.net specifically denies any responsibility for the accuracy or quality of information obtained through its services.
    
    
13. Payment is due 15 days after date of invoice. Accounts that are in default may be terminated or suspended without notice. A reconnect fee of $35 must be paid prior to reactivation of service. Service with TEKnology.net may be terminated in writing by the User at any time. Service termination does not remove the User's responsibility under these Terms and Conditions to pay all fees incurred up to the date of service termination.     A credit card or bank debit card charge that is not honored by your bank for any reason is considered to be Insufficient Funds, and will be handled as such. We will attempt to place the charge on your card once per business day until the charge is finally honored by your bank in the form of an authorization number. In addition to the regular subscription charges, you will be charged $5.00 for the first decline occurrence, $7.50 for the second, $15.00 for the third; and the fourth occurrence will result in a suspension of service, which requires a $35.00 re-connect fee.
    
    
14. Accounts in default are subject to a late payment charge of $15 and an interest charge of 1.5% per month on the overdue balance. If you default, you agree to pay TEKnology.net its reasonable expenses, including attorney and collection agency fees, incurred in enforcing its rights under these Terms and Conditions.
    
    
15. TEKnology.net reserves the right to change the rates for services provided and otherwise modify these Terms and Conditions by notifying the User 30 days in advance of the effective date of the change.
    
    If User changes his DSL service level from the local telco, TEKnology.net must be notified immediately upon the change taking place. No credits, refunds, or adjustments of any kind will be issued due to User lowering his service level if he does not promptly notify TEKnology.net via email to billing@teknology.net.
    
    
16. TEKnology.net reserves the right to terminate and/or deny service to the User at any time without prior written notice for violation of these Terms and Conditions. Written notification will be sent to the User's address on file not more than 30 days after the denial of service.
    
    
17. Prepaid accounts may be cancelled by providing thirty days written notice. Your account will be back-billed for each month of service or fraction thereof at our prevailing full rate. You will also be charged a $55.00 early cancellation fee. These billings will be deducted from any refund you may have due your account.
    
    
18. These Terms and Conditions represent the complete agreement and understanding of the User and TEKnology.net with respect to the subject matter herein, and supersedes any other agreement or understanding, whether written or oral.

By using TEKnology.net's services, you certify that you agree to abide by the letter and the spirit of the conditions and limitations set forth above.
